OMI Academic Partners

The Open Medical Institute is an educational program established in close collaboration with physicians from Weill Cornell Medicine. Over the past decades, many other prestigious medical institutions in the United States and Europe have joined the initiative and provide academic leadership for the OMI programs, with all faculty members serving pro bono. The initiative’s success is due to the faculty’s enthusiasm and dedication to teach and mentor young, talented colleagues from around the world. Since 1993, more than 2,500 faculty members who share the program’s philosophy have volunteered over 6,100 weeks of educational service.
