On September 30, 2025, the Austrian Ambassador’s Residence in Prague hosted a special evening celebrating 25 years of collaboration between the Open Medical Institute (OMI) and the Olga Havel Foundation.
Welcomed by H.E. Dr. Bettina Kirnbauer, over 60 OMI alumni gathered to honor this milestone in a warm and festive atmosphere. The Ambassador highlighted the power of international cooperation in advancing medical education. Monika Granja reflected on the long-standing partnership with the Olga Havel Foundation, which has been instrumental in supporting Czech participation in the OMI seminars. Dr. Wolfgang Aulitzky and Stephanie Faschang offered a look back at OMI’s journey and shared recent developments.
Alumni Dr. Mahulena Exnerová and Dr. Anna Ouřadová delivered inspiring testimonials about the program’s influence on their professional paths and broader contributions to healthcare.
A musical performance by Karel Leskovec added a celebratory note to the evening, which concluded with a toast, refreshments, and engaging conversations among alumni and guests.
