OMI Welcomes New Local Coordinator from the Czech Republic

Oct 18, 2023

The Open Medical Institute is pleased to welcome Petra Kasalická, the new local coordinator for the Czech Republic, to the OMI community. She works for the Olga Havel Foundation’s Committee of Good Will, which the OMI has a long standing, excellent partnership with.

Petra will provide valuable information and support for Czech physicians interested in the OMI activities. Her tasks will range from the promotion of the OMI programs to maintaining relationships with OMI alumni, updating and managing the OMI database, and submitting regular reports. Since the beginning of the program in 1993, the OMI has trained more than 1,270 fellows from the Czech Republic.

We are excited to have Petra on our team!

Petra Kasalická

OMI Local Coordinator, Czech Republic

In recent years, I have worked on various projects in the non-profit sector. Since 2021, I have been working for the Olga Havel Foundation‘s Committee of Good Will, where I coordinate projects to support civil society, especially the empowerment of disadvantaged groups. Previously, I was mainly involved in the preparation of medical conferences in the Czech Republic, and I like to recall my part-time job in a medical literature shop.
