OMI Leadership Program
The OMI leadership program provides complementary education in areas which are important for successful medical leadership, medical education, and public health. It is designed to enable the OMI alumni to take leading positions in the healthcare systems of their home countries.
The academic leadership for these seminars is provided by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the Institut Pasteur, the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER), and Maastricht University. Based on a one-to-three year curriculum, the program offers training in the following areas:
- Medical Education
- Medical Leadership
- Medical Quality and Patient Safety
- Applied Clinical Research
- Medical Informatics
- Academic Writing and Systematic Reviews
- Public Health and Public Health Law
- Global Health
