We are proud to highlight Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, who participated in the Palliative Care seminar in Salzburg led by Dr. Steven Pantilat, Division Chief of Palliative Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
She reflects: “What I learned from the course has truly helped me in my daily work. After returning to Vietnam, I shared this knowledge with my colleagues at Vinmec Central Park and joined in building a palliative care model. This work contributed to my hospital receiving the Patient Care Initiative of the Year Award at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2026. This shows how valuable the OMI training has been in real patient care.”
