The Open Medical Institute presents a cardiology seminar in Mexico City that will focus on the treatment and management of patients with atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and valvular disease. The course will be led by Weill Cornell subspecialists from interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure and transplants, and cardiac electrophysiologists. The seminar will be held over three days and include the opportunity for fellows to present interesting case presentations, which will be moderated by the faculty. The seminar targets cardiologists who are fluent in English, which allows for intense interaction during lectures and discussions. Learning objectives include: How to manage patients with chronic heart failure, How to manage patients with cardiogenic shock, Diagnosing and treating valvular disease with percutaneous interventions, Discussion and review of challenging electrophysiology cases, Rhythm control options for atrial fibrillation.
