The Open Medical Institute presents an ophthalmology seminar designed to share knowledge about common ophthalmic conditions and their diagnosis and management, along with surgical topics. The seminar is held over two and a half days and allows for intense interaction with attendees through lectures, discussions, and case presentations. Led by experts from Weill Cornell Medicine, the course is intended for ophthalmologists in training and mid-career level specialists. The topics are presented during 45-minute lectures followed by 15-minute Q&A sessions and discussions.
Topics include: Periocular Trauma, Eyelid Malignancies and Reconstruction, Advances in Ophthalmology, Herpetic Keratitis, Higher Order Cortical Visual Syndromes, Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension, Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery Device Update, Cataract Surgery.
