The University Clinical Center of Kosovo in Pristina has named its new library Dr. Wolfgang Aulitzky Library, honoring his contribution to the continuing medical education of Kosovar physicians through the OMI Seminars. Since 2005, 470 doctors and healthcare workers have participated in OMI Seminars and Observerships. The library’s name was announced on Dr. Aulitzky’s 70th birthday, May 2, 2020.
“In every country, the health sector is expecially important for the entire population and the work that the health staff are doing here in Kosovo is admirable. This becomes evident particularly in an epidemiological crisis like the one we are facing now. It makes me proud that my compatriot Dr. Aulitzky has been contributing to the education of medical specialists in Kosovo. This shows again how much good can be achieved through the initiative of one person.”
Mag. Christoph Weidinger, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Kosovo
