After closing for several months, to ensure the safety and health of our faculty, fellows, and staff, we are excited to announce that the Open Medical Institute is restarting in-person OMI Seminars at Schloss Arenberg in September 2020. Our first seminar following the break will be the Salzburg Columbia University Seminar in Internal Medicine 2020, which will take place from September 6-12.
Given the special circumstances and travel restrictions this year, our US faculty will hold their lectures remotely in the afternoons while Austrian and European faculty will present live in Salzburg in the mornings. Workshops and fellows’ case presentations will be hosted jointly. Due to the continued prevalence of COVID-19 in many regions, only fellows from countries permitted to enter Austria will be allowed to participate.
